fav things ard the world.

got nth to do today and my sis is still sleeping so i cant use the desktop in my room...

on friday, after eating at newton wif yt, on the way home, we were toking abt where got the best food. like for me, the best chicken rice is at balastier road's Boon Tong Kee.

so i decided to walk down memory lane and review the best things ard the world tat i like.

starting from the nearest to the furthest.

Malaysia:

-Genting: one of the first rollercoaster that i sat on. the weather was not bad too. but now genting really boring. cant tink of anything there tats nice anymore..

-JB: I like their supermarket there becos it has ALL the junk food tat i like at cheap cheap price and the cheap dvds and vcds haha.

Thailand:

-Bangkok: Definitely the dee kar rice (pig trotter rice)
Sticky rice wif mango
Everything tats priced at 199 baht. haha

-Phuket: the kayaking experience to the bat cave where u have to lie down in order to enter the cave cos the entrance is really small.

China:

-Macau: The best hotel i've ever stayed in. Sands hotel. the family suite got a living room, ktv room, 3 bathroom wif big jacuzzi, toilet seat warmer w/ asshole cleaner (hahhahah) and a 24hrs butler. u call for roomservice they come and prepare the meal on the dining room table.

-Guangzhou: The best warm milk tea wif pearl ever. (haven been to taiwan so dunno if taiwan better anot)

-Beijing: Great wall is not tat great when i went. cos its really tiring... but i like their steam sweet potato & corn at the roadside. their cabbage also quite nice surprisingly. haha

-Dalian: Nothing much there except for seafood which we didnt get to eat much.

-Harbin a.k.a Har-er-bin: the ice sculpted slide!! super fun hahaha. and the ice sculptures were amazing too wif the lightings. saw wrinkled and dry old man swimming in a pool of freezing water during winter.

-Zhuhai: The uber cheap dvds there. lol. one piece only like SGD$0.40????

South Korea:

-Seoul: KOREAN BBQ! the best best best bbq EVER.

-???: Another city where we stayed in a skii resort and had my first snow skiing experience.

Japan:

-Tokyo: Disneyland (cos i was still small and i loooove the bloody chipmunks and donald duck) haha. was too small to rmb much... had ramen i tink... went to mt fuji...

-Harajuku: Saw a lot of cosplay people which was scary at that time cos they all got weird expressions.

-Kyoto/Osaka/Tokyo?: Went to this temple where it snowed. first snow experience

Australia:

-Surfers' Paradise, Gold Coast: Movie world, Sea world, Dream world. super duper fun themeparks.

-Cairns: went snorkelling at the great barrier reef. really clear water where u can touch the corals. couldnt scuba dive cos i was below 12 yrs old..... :( they went white water rafting too... haiz....

-Perth: Quite a boring place. went to the market and walk walk and nth much. lol....

-Melbourne: 2nd best hotel i've stayed in. Crown Casino Hotel. the hotel has everything, arcade, casino, shopping arcade wif AX, LV, Jag and etc.

-Brisbane: Went for farm stay which has the BEST freshly toasted bread with honey and butter and the BEST billy tea where u swing the teapot round and round dunno for wat. lol... the farm stay was really fun and diff from other vacations.

-Sydney: Went there for 1-2 days and came upon this street where its the red light district. couldnt go in also becos too small. haha

New Zealand:

-Went up a hill for a cave climbing trip. was really rough... but after that, we had a home cooked meal tat the family of the cave climbing business. they make the BEST apple cinnamon cake! also went to Rotorua to visit some tribe where there's hot steam coming out from ground.

Europe: (the food in europe is not my fav at all)

-Germany: Has the most not-so-disgusting beer i've ever drank cos beer really sucks. haha. the food there i didnt really liked it except for one of the bratwurst or wurstchen forgot which one.
really liked it when it snowed and we had to wrap ourselves up like bar zhang.
the factory outlet town in metzingen and wertheim village was also not bad but i wasnt tat rich lol.

-Italy:

Rome: The ruins was absolutely amazing. destroy til so nice. maybe shld try and destroy shenton way and make it look nicer too. haha. but the 40 degrees day that almost roasted us wasnt tat fun to walk in. lol

Milan: Happy hour from five to eight. buy a drink and get free buffet! haha. food wasnt tat good but its a good deal. had fun walking ard the town wif my sis fren melissa and she showed us around

Venice: The St Mark's square was really magnificent... hated the pigeons shit all over the floor though..

Prague: Tw had baked bunny for lunch. lol... but i simply love the dai dee sessions we had. whenever we see a grass patch and our legs are tired. we sit and play dai dee. haha

Barcelona: the shopping was not bad and the weather was great. sunny wif strong wind. the port that we went to was really really really good for sun tan.

Holland: The sortof countryside stay wif sj's aunt was really diff and nice... great relaxing place...
Amsterdam: Eye-opening window shopping (for hookers) and the Dungeon was fun too. not scary one loh... although at first quite scary cos of the atmosphere. haha

who knew blogging can waste so much time?

timing super good. my sis woke up while i was typing this sentence! wohoo!! can watch hitman reborn and play dota liao hehe

after the trip to ntuc ytd, tonite i went as planned and cooked myself a japanese meal. wanted to cook for my sis but one go find bf one go bangkok wif mom and dad... so pang seh loh...





so heres wat i cooked for myself:

starting clockwise

1) Rice wif tamago and crab meat

2) Half dozen scallop baked with anoki

3) Fried chicken

4) Juicy sushi (bet u cant say it 10 times without saying jushi shushi) haha. got 3/4 inch of tamago as base, crab meat stick, scallop mayo and ebi roe. best sushi i've eaten. cos got all my fav haha

5) King prawn mentai! (tried to copy the jap restaurant kind and ended up 85% alike) not bad liao le... haha

this concludes my "NIPPON! Set Dinner for 1". lol

freaking bloated and im juz going to stone right after this....

it all started... one fine day.... and since i said "one fine day", it obviously meant a non-working day. so its a saturday! yay!



the bowling league finished and my team emerged champion! (i had nth much to do wif it cos i only bowl abit lol)



anyways... they had this dinner in seletar club then got lucky draw. and guess wat?



i got $50 NTUC voucher!!!! WOHOO!!! pardon me for being auntie but can u imagine how happy a boy like me can be if u have $50 to buy all the snacks and junks u wan?



and so... today i set off on a journey wif yt to NTUC and later meet up wif siqi and all had dinner tgt...



at first i tot $50 might be juz nice... but then... haiz... wanted to cook jap meal tmr nite for myself so kinda spent like 70+ lol... on juz tidbits...

this makes me really really really happy and this is really a simple bliss that can satisfy a simple stomach like mine.

eating frenzy

got my ipp allowance like a week back. saved 250 and took out 450 to spend. 180 on Wii. the rest i only left like $90 now... haizzz.... after got pay, went to ichiban sushi eat wif yt at amk hub. we two eat alr $50. then next next day or smth, went crystal jade in bishan eat... $50+ again.. then two days ago we went Sushi Tei eat.

wat we ate:

1) tamago sushi

2) ebi mentai sushi

3) cold udon (my carbo to keep from from ordering more)

4) soft shell crab

5) fried chicken

6) baked mayo miso scallop (big and juicy, ahh....)

7) teapot soup (gimmick dish. soup in a teapot. pour into a tiny little cup and drink)

8) scallop sushi

9) seafood salad

10) ramen (yt's)

11) ice cream (yt's. i only ate 1/4) of it)

total $80+

haizz.... no money liao... keep eat eat eat... haiz...

but i need more eating khaki! who wan to eat?? jio me out pls...

shared wif my two sis and my mom (becos of Wii Fit she wanna share) haha.

brought to my grandma's house to play cos her tv there bigger. played wif my little cousin and my sisters. quite fun and tiring. really tiring... lol...

weekends pass by way too fast... haven even recharge my biological battery then have to go work tmr alr...

its like carrying an mp3 tat left like 20% battery and gives u the 'feeling' tat its not fully charge very gaw wei lor...

yes... i go work wif only 20% of my battery everyday... haiz...

can school start soon? haiz...

and have to register for the ns checkup alr...

the bitter-sour life of being a guy...

sigh... have to go sleep soon... tmr have to 'do cow do horse' again.

saturday

saturdays nv felt this good before.... after a week of work, finally got to rest today...

woke up by my mom this morning to go market eat breakfast at 10+, so i woke up and bathed...

after tat, my second sis woke up then have to "doll-up" as usual cos she going out after that.. waited til 11+

when we're ready to go, my mom's fren asked us out for lunch. but she steaming huat gou. then we waited til 12+... can u imagine how hungry i was....

then she came and picked us up with his son then we went to dempsy for jap food. very nice food there but quite exp

after that, went shaw's isetan walk walk... then went to paragon cos my mom's other fren is there. so we went to meet him and his wife, went to Cova cafe or something for tea... 5 small little tarts tat's bite-sized plus a drink costs 20+...

after that we went back to isetan to buy the swiss roll at the basement of shaw. then it came to ard 7pm.. time to go home but went to my mom's fren house instead cos she said she cooked abalone and sea cucumber.

"YEAH!" - tat was wat my stomach yelled. haha. after tat finally came home and watch fringe and hitman reborn. ahh... saturdays are great... especially when u took it for granted during school-life...

oh yea. speaking of which, during work on friday, i came across this guy's i/c and he freaking looking like stephen chow with moustache and glasses. SUPER LOOK ALIKE. haha

wth la. its like the second time im going thru this dreadful mail. its from mindef... argh... i've dreaded this day ever since i deferred for nyp....

dreadful is the only word going thru my head...
