Go-kart

a few weeks back, we went go-karting wif some germans from another class. it was super fun! beats the one i played in Escape Theme Park before. lol. i got 3rd position for the best timing out of 8. so its not too bad. nth much happened actually. juz fun while playing it. one post down. alot more to go.

CYCLING

Dating back to last Thursday or Friday… on 9th May (sorry my post all jump here jump there cos I dunno which came first.. haha)

We rented bicycles on Thursday. and my cycling skill is really bad and I admit it. So only me, Sarah and Rebecca rented the bikes because we stay quite far from sch and at that time, the rest of them (tw, Nicholas and gq) was still crashing at Chris’ place and they were near the sch. So, after meeting up with them, they wanted to ride the bike too. So. 3 bicycles, 3 guys and 3 girls. What to do? They said that one guy shld carry on girl at the back. But it wasn’t a good idea since I suck at it.
So we decided. Tw ride the bicycle and I was behind him. Then Sarah and Rebecca took one bike. But it didn’t turn out well becos my butt super hurts after awhile of sitting at the back.

So, I rode the bike and Rebecca sat behind me (yes, she has such a brave soul). So here we go. After ard 5-10 mins of Rebecca shouting at me, we took a rest. After that, here comes a new challenger, Sarah Jane. It was her turn for the not-so-safe-but-free roller coaster ride behind me.

We went to a field of Raps (some kind of flower that can be made into cooking oil) and took some photos. Then we headed back.

To cut things short, I crashed into a tree after avoiding a bush. Wait, let me rephrase it. The stupid tree crashed into my bike even the kind-hearted me tried my best not to hit that innocent bush, that dim-witted tree came crashing into me… We heard a couple of laughter and a car honked at me which I guess they were mocking me too. Oh well… Don’t worry. I’m not injured. Haha… the bike was though… a small part of the sponge on the handle kinda ripped off.

Nothing much happened after that. The day just had 3 people with near-death experiences.

As you might already have seen before, thiam wei and I share a king size bed frame with two separate single mattresses. But its still one big bed.

This is my new apartment. The balcony kinda sucks though.. even it has a chair, the chair has a hole in it as I was testing if it was stable. And my finger went right through it…. Nice…… -.-

And this is the view outside of my window. Which explains why I have to buy air freshener cos of the overwhelming smell…

But now, I’m sitting at the last row. Which I’m happy so far but the moment he came in on the first day ytd, he said “oh… so u guys have moved to the back. Hiding in the back… JJ”

WTH. JJ? If I get a penny every time he calls my name, I’ll get a kababoomillionkazillion pennies. He said “I don’t feel comfortable because I can’t see you (me, jj)” because where I’m sitting, a pillar is blocking me from him. So today, he moved his proffy speaking table thingymagic and now he has direct sight of me. AGAIN. Internet is down… so I’m blogging in Microsoft words rite now. So I can juz copy paste inside. Ahhaha…

And as internet is blocked during lessons and the unsecured network is down, I fell deep asleep… now he’s toking abt wat “Luddites” is. WTFASDIEJFKLDLWEJD! WHO cares! He talked abt a slide for 1 and a half hours ytd and I managed to stay awake (with the help of Maoam sweets, caramel choco chews, Tofiffee, chewing gums, some sweets from David and last but not least, INTERNET).

Sarah jane is beside me throwing pieces of paper to anne and passing notes to Nicole… its like a war of paper messages… im juz here sitting down, wif my table of sweet wrappers and a sore jaw from eating chewing gums.. spacing out… in my own World of JJ. Haha. Yup. Like the one in Bishan last time. And yes, I still rmb wat is bishan amk and nyp all tat. Haiz… I so so so so so so so miss nyp classes where I can juz sleep without caring abt the feelings of the proffies…

Ich habe keinen Bock!!! Tats a phrase tat anne and jasmin taught sarah jane and she taught me. It means I have no interest whatsoever… Tonight we’re going to try mee hoon kueh again. Haha. This time, we will make lesser unlike the previous time where we almost exploded eating tat.

I managed to stay awake for 31 mins now…since the break.. still surviving… its amazing that in germany, the students are soooo participative. When the teacher say “wat do u tink” in Singapore, we will juz ignore the teacher and continue toking among ourselves. But here, people raises their hands and voice their opinions. And I mean OPINIONS. Some juz wun stop til they get their points thru or until everyone agrees wif him…

Someone please throw a rock from Singapore and kill me… anytime during weekdays from 9am-4.30pm Germany time. Or 3pm-10.30pm Singapore time. But dun throw from 6pm-7pm Singapore time becos I will be eating lunch.

I can juz keep going on and on and on…. Cos the class is soooooooooo boring….

Oh ya, we went for a BBQ yesterday after class by a lake ard 15km away from my town. BY A FREAKING LAKE! Ok. Maybe an oversized pond more than a lake. But the bbq was nice. The weather was nice… so nice til the mosquitoes u have to count in dozens. But everything was fun…

Alright…. Time to go back to sleep or something…

New apartment

New apartment is so nice…. One person to a room is so nice… I mess I clean. I no mess I no clean. :) and dinners was awesome so far. We had chicken rice (Prima Taste, thnx mom!), fried rice, prawn noodle maggi, aglio olio spaghetti with honey baked chicken wings

Went to Heidelberg last last weekend with Dustin as our guide. He came to NYP for exchange program before and Heidelberg is his hometown. We went to this castle where the Germans and the French fought. Nice view from the top of the castle and we went shopping in the main street after that. Only bought chocolates and a glass boot. Interesting mug….

my new haircut! haha

cool rite

super cool rite!

haha. when she shaved it was dam pain. it was like sylar cutting my skull open.. but its worth it. altho i didnt had any say in it. after paying for a normal haircut, sarah jane was like "hey, why dun u go do some design on ur hair?"

me: "Hmm... i dun mind.."

Hairstylist: "So, how do u wan it?"

me: "Erm.."

Sarah: "Anything"

Hairstylist: "Big or small?"

me: "Erm.."

Sarah: "BIG" <----- not her hair of cos she say tat..

me:"Err..."

as u can see, i didnt had any say in it. all i said was "Erm.." and "Err..." next thing u noe, RIIII-OUNWWWWW hair shaved off at the sides... and it began.. oh well, its quite cool anyway. haha.
